With only 4 Black male CEO in the Fortune 500 and make up only 1.6% of executive and senior leaders, role models and opportunities are scarce. Black men experience the workplace differently than their peers keeping them disproportionally missing from senior leadership.

  • A: Typical SOAR participants have been in the workforce for 7-17 years. In addition to having experience with managing others or projects, they demonstrate a high level of performance and have been identified internally as ready for stretch assignments and take on new challenges.   • A: Yes. We can and do deliver internationally. Contact us to learn how.

  • A: No. Although our primary focus is on addressing the challenges faced by women and minorities, SOAR will partner with you to create and deliver programming that meets your leadership development needs. All SOAR models are adaptable and configurable to all audiences.

  • A: Currently SOAR does not support 100% virtual programming options. Several of our cohorts do offer hybrid options, combining in-person and virtual meetings.

  • A: We deliver SOAR programming primarily two ways:

    1. Partner with companies to deliver programming internally for their selected participants at their chosen locations domestically and/or internationally.

    2. Companies select 1-3 internal emerging Black leaders to participate in any of the current SOAR markets. Several of these markets are delivered through a hybrid model in order to accommodate and provide flexibility for travel.

  • A: SOAR for Black Men is a 9-month program offered on a yearly basis. Check out our registration page to view future program dates. Internal SOAR programs begin at the discretion of an organization and are delivered at the location(s) of their choice.
